Festibility is a fandom festival organised by access_fandom accepting all kinds of fanworks (fic, meta, art, icons, podfic, vids, recs, picspams, drabble sets etc) about disabled characters. Works can focus on canonically disabled characters or canonically able-bodied characters that you reimagine as disabled.

Posting dates are July 15 to September 15, 2010, and there is an optional Festibility prompt post you can use for inspiration, as well as a beta pool to help out.

I can think of a few canonical examples for toybox_fics: Snake-eyes from GI Joe and Chip Chase from Transformers G1 and Bumblebee from the Transformers movie 'verse among others. And I know there are others. So, if you're looking for an interesting new writing challenge, you might want to give Festibility a try!

The main requirement for a fandom to be included in this community is simply that the fandom be based around a toyline in some way, shape or form. The 1980s was, to me at least, the Golden Age of Animated Toy Commercials, but shows from the 1950s through the present (2010 and beyond) are also welcome. Or even earlier if you know of pre-TV series -- film, radio, etc. that fit the toy requirement.

ETA: It just occurred to me -- and it's pretty freakin' sad that it took this long to occur to me -- but this community is open to canons that are not American in origin.
